ANALYZE, REFLECT & INSPIRE
Our "BOSSY" fundraiser is a focus on communication and perception. How "Boss" and "Bossy" are so similar and yet so different. To be a boss is usually associated with a position of respect and power; yet bossy is usually seen as a negative leadership trait that demands respect as opposed to inspiring it. We want to encourage our players to be better athletes and people by continuing to analyze, reflect and aspire. Great leaders and people aren't afraid to be themselves and to chase their dreams; and in doing so they inspire and bring out the best in those around them. Often times they'll feel misunderstood or discouraged, but by sharpening their ability to analyze situations and to reflect on outcomes only gets them one step closer to their goals. In discovering the light bulb, Thomas Edison was quoted "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that did not work."

Be Smart. Fine tune your ability to focus, concentrate and communicate. It's an understanding the decisions we make today influence our future; make sure the return on your investment is positive and not negative. Invest your time & energy into things that are going to add value to your life.

Be Supportive. Surround yourself with people who are positive, respectful, passionate and empathetic. Don't be afraid to ask for help or lean on your teammates in moments of weakness; but also learn how to be a source of strength for your team as well.
